Cephalon has nine proprietary products in the United States, and currently markets more than 20 products internationally.

TREANDA® (bendamustine HCl) for Injection is a novel chemotherapeutic agent for chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL), a slowly progressing cancer of the blood and bone marrow. The most common type of adult leukemia, CLL affects 15,000 Americans annually. While the exact mechanism of action is unknown, TREANDA destroys cancer cells via two pathways -- by damaging the DNA in cancer cells and by disrupting cell division. TREANDA is the first new agent approved by the FDA for CLL treatment since 2001.
