Cephalon’s Corporate Contributions Program is primarily focused in three areas:
-
Disease and Therapeutic Focus - Cephalon provides funding support to address selected disease and health care issues, especially those created by neurological and sleep disorders, cancer , pain and addiction. Contributions are intended to complement Cephalon's research and development focus.
-
Cephalon Communities - Cephalon is committed to supporting the communities in which it has a significant presence, including Chester County, Pennsylvania, and the Greater Philadelphia region, Salt Lake City, Utah, Minneapolis, Minnesota and several European locations in the United Kingdom, France and Germany. In so doing, the company seeks to add to the vitality of these communities, enhancing the quality of life for Cephalon employees and their families. Specifically, Cephalon provides support for a variety of grassroots cultural, civic, and educational not-for-profit organizations. Consistent with the company's heritage as an entrepreneurial, science-based enterprise, we primarily support organizations and initiatives that foster innovation and entrepreneurialism, and support education in the life sciences. We also are particularly interested in supporting organizations with which Cephalon employees are involved.
-
Employee Giving Program - In 2006, Cephalon empowered employees to make important charitable giving decisions through the creation of an employee matching gift program. This program allows full-time employees to support the charities of their choice and Cephalon will provide a dollar-for-dollar match. Since the program started, Cephalon has matched thousands of dollars for more than 125 charities. Cephalon also encourages employees to volunteer for community organizations that are aligned with our strategic corporate giving areas.
