Cephalon Communities
We define the concept of community broadly. While our support is strongest where we have a considerable presence – the Greater Philadelphia area around our headquarters; Salt Lake City, Utah; Minneapolis, Minnesota; and locations in France, the UK, Germany, Switzerland and Australia – we do reach beyond these borders when we recognize a need.
The National Liberty Museum has an Inspiration Exhibit that celebrates true heroes: individuals with physical and cognitive challenges who are role models. Cephalon is supporting a special printed activity guide as a companion piece to the exhibit to help create awareness of these challenges and inspire young people make a difference.
Cephalon supports Keystone Hospice, who combines state-of-the-art skilled nursing care with strong emotional and spiritual support to help terminally ill patients and their families maintain dignity throughout the dying process assists families through the bereavement period.
Cephalon has taken its long-time support of the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s “Light The Night” to the next level, becoming a national sponsor of the program from 2009 through 2011.

Employees Called to Action
Days after the devastating earthquake in Haiti in January 2010, Cephalon pledged up to $25,000 to match contributions from employees to benefit the American Red Cross International Response. This program provides critical relief supplies and supports longer term measures including an immunization and hygiene promotion campaign.
