Cephalon Communities

Cephalon is committed to supporting communities where we have a significant presence, including the Greater Philadelphia region; Salt Lake City, Utah; Minneapolis and Eden Prairie, Minnesota and several locations in the United Kingdom, France and Germany.

We strive to add to the vitality of our communities, enhancing the quality of life for Cephalon employees and our local partners. From contributing to the PBS station in Philadelphia, to sponsoring the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure event in Salt Lake City, we support a variety of local civic efforts.

Consistent with our heritage as an entrepreneurial enterprise, we have a particular interest in supporting organizations and initiatives that foster innovative business education among community members. A great example of this is how we invite young students of the Chester County Youth Leadership Program to our corporate headquarters to learn directly from our dynamic executives.

Cephalon also is active in promoting our communities. For example, we encourage other life science companies to locate or expand in our home region as an ambassador for Select Greater Philadelphia, a local economic development agency. "Cephalon has a culture of corporate responsibility that is reflected…in the way it has helped make this region a better place to work and live," said Tom Morr, President of Select Greater Philadelphia.
