The American Cancer Society (ACS)

Association of Clinicians for the Underserved (ACU)

CancerCare

CancerCare is a national nonprofit, 501c (3) organization that provides free, professional support services to anyone affected by cancer: people with cancer, caregivers, children, loved ones, and the bereaved. CancerCare programs—including counseling and support groups, education, financial assistance and practical help—are provided by professional oncology social workers and are completely free of charge. www.cancercare.org

The HealthWell Foundation®

The HealthWell Foundation® is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization established in 2003 that is committed to addressing the needs of individuals with insurance who cannot afford their copayments, coinsurance, and premiums for important medical treatments. The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS)

The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's (LLS) Co-Pay Assistance Program offers assistance to patients toward: Cancer treatment related co-pays; Private health insurance premiums; Private insurance co-pay obligations; Medicare Part B, Medicare Plan D, Medicare Supplementary Health Insurance and Medicare Advantage premium or co-pay obligations. www.lls.org/copay

National Organization for Rare Disorders (NORD)

Since 1987, NORD has administered programs to assist uninsured or under-insured individuals in securing life-saving or life-sustaining medications. In addition to the estimated 50 million Americans who have no health insurance, an increasing number of insured individuals have policies that do not reimburse for prescription drugs. NeedyMeds

The Partnership for Prescription Assistance (PPA)

The Partnership for Prescription Assistance, a program sponsored by America’s pharmaceutical research companies, connects people who are uninsured or have limited coverage with programs that provide prescription medications at no or minimal cost. The Patient Access Network (PAN)

The Patient Access Network (PAN) Foundation provides co-payment assistance to help underinsured patients access the medical attention and treatment they need to sustain a reasonable quality of life. www.patientaccessnetwork.org

Patient Advocate Foundation

Patient Advocate Foundation is a national non-profit organization that seeks to safeguard patients through effective mediation assuring access to care, maintenance of employment and preservation of their financial stability relative to their diagnosis of life threatening or debilitating diseases. www.patientadvocate.org

Patient Services Incorporated (PSI)

For nearly two decades, PSI has helped people who live with certain chronic illnesses or conditions locate suitable health insurance coverage and access ways to satisfy expensive co-payments. PSI provides assistance with the cost of health insurance premiums associated with COBRAs, State High Risk Pools, Open enrollment, Guaranteed Issue policies, HIPAA conversion policies; and prescriptions co-payments associated with private insurance as well as with Medicare Parts B and D. www.uneedpsi.org
