Cephalon supports transparency in its financial relationships with healthcare professionals. We believe it is important for the public to understand that our partnerships with healthcare professionals allow us to develop and bring new medicines to market, address the needs of patients, and assure the safe and appropriate use of our medications.
This database contains a list of healthcare professionals with whom Cephalon has contracted to conduct Company-sponsored peer-to-peer educational speaker programs, provide advisory or consulting services or conduct clinical research. The database also contains other types of spending and items of value, including travel-related expenses, educational meals, and educational items. The total amount is for all fees provided to and spending on the individual healthcare professional during the calendar year. Where applicable and identifiable, payments directed to an institution, hospital, organization or charity for services performed by an individual healthcare professional are identified. These payments are reflected under the "Paid To" column in the database below. Payment and spending data in this database are compiled from several sources that include Cephalon's financial system, internal reporting functions, and our speaker program database, among others. A 90-day reconciliation period is allowed to finalize all payment and spending transactions, and any such transactions that were not reconciled at the time this database was finalized will be included in the next reporting period. This database includes all payments and spending occurring between January 1, 2012 and December 31,2012.
