In the second quarter of 2010, Cephalon continued to set new records for its success, while the most promising pipeline in the company’s history gained significant momentum.

During the quarter, sales hit $712.4 million, a 32 percent increase compared to sales in the second quarter of 2009. In addition, the adjusted net income reached $165.3 million, a 49 percent increase over the comparable period in 2009. Based on these impressive figures, we exceeded our previously issued guidance on sales and basic adjusted income per common share.
